Graham Smith
Graham Smith
Research Director
Graham Smith currently serves as the Director of Research for Buffalo Niagara Enterprise (BNE). In this position, he is responsible for supporting BNE’s marketing and business development activities with accurate, up to date and insightful research on the Buffalo Niagara region. The research generated by his department has helped in the design of BNE’s marketing goals and objectives and created “custom tool-kit” of specific business development information to assist business attraction efforts.
Graham has more than 9 years of experience in economic development focused on economic and market research. Prior to joining BNE, Graham was a Performance Analyst at Manning & Napier Information Services.
"My life works because I enjoy the beautiful summers and visiting beaches in Canada and the U.S. Toronto is in close proximity, and I only have to drive 20 minutes for my job. My children attend good schools and I like how genuinely nice people are here."

Graham earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English in 1991 and masters of Library Science in 1997 from University of Buffalo.
