Make new friends, but keep the old ones.

While we’re always looking to make new friends, in Buffalo Niagara we know it’s just as important to keep the old ones. Our established businesses are the ones that have made Buffalo Niagara a place where business works, and we want to make sure that Buffalo Niagara keeps working for them, too. After all, eighty-percent of job growth comes from existing businesses.

Interested in growing in Buffalo Niagara? There’s plenty of room, and a wide range of existing office and manufacturing stock, and building sites: shovel-ready greenfield, waterfront, brownfield. Our educated, affordable, work-ready population is another reason why businesses grow in Buffalo Niagara. Natural resources matter to a growing business, and here is a region endowed with sustainable and plentiful energy and water resources.

Here are some of the exciting businesses that are growing in Buffalo Niagara:

Rosina recently moved their pasta manufacturing operations from New Jersey to Cheektowaga, investing over $9M and creating 125 new jobs.

Citigroup expanded their back office operations in Amherst – and creating over 500 new jobs.

Invitrogen Corporation invested $5.2M to expand its Grand Island manufacturing operations, creating 36 jobs to meet growing demand for their genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, cell culture, and cell biology products.

But, as an old friend, you already know all this about Buffalo Niagara. What you may not know is that Buffalo Niagara Enterprise makes staying and expanding in Buffalo Niagara work. We work closely with you to ensure that you have the up-to-date market and demographic data you need, and that you are able to take full advantage of financing opportunities and economic incentives to stay and grow in the region.
